February was a short month for us but we enjoyed learning about our Country. We started with the American Flag and learned about what each color stands for:- Red: Bravery (doing something even when you are scared)
-White: Purity (being good)
- Blue: Justice (Being fair)
The kids each made their own Flag by cutting out strips of Red paper, this was great practice for our cutting skills. then they glued these on their paper and using white paint and q-tips they painted stars.
During this month we also talked and read books about the Lincoln Memorial, The Liberty Bell, and the Star Spangled Banner.
